Donation Policy
How To Give
Mount Pleasant Teen Bible Study is an officially recognized state eleemosynary incorporation as designated by the South Carolina Secretary of State. This means that contributions you make to TBS are tax deductible.
*This is not a solicitation for donations. TBS is free to any teenagers willing to attend. It will always remain that way. No one is expected to give anything to us. Quite the contrary, we desire to give something to our students—free fellowship with other Christian teenagers and the gospel of Christ. We do solicit and desire your prayers for our group, but that is all. However, for those who feel a desire to give, we now have a mechanism where those gifts can be tax-deductible.
*None of your contributions will be used to pay anyone for their service to TBS. Mr. Stallings and the entire GAP Corps work solely on a voluntary basis. If there are expenses incurred during TBS activities, however (i.e. gas for long trips, tickets to outings, parking garage expenses, etc.), these may come out of the TBS account. This goes for any adult serving as a chaperone for such activities as well.
We treat this opportunity to accept tax-deductible donations as a humbling opportunity and will do everything we can to be prayerful and wise stewards of these funds.
